Job summary

Lafayette technical Services is seeking a quantity surveyor/cost control professional to prepare detailed BOQs from drawings, perform quantity take-offs for interior fit-out works, and manage project cost estimates and procurement. You will source quotations, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor costs to ensure cost-effective delivery.

• Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) from drawings and specifications.
• Perform quantity take-offs for interior fit-out, including aluminum, glass, metal, and joinery works.
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
• Source quotations and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare material procurement schedules and monitor project costs.
• Evaluate variations, prepare claims, and manage change orders.
• Review shop drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quantities.
• Track project progress against budgets and prepare cost reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure cost-effective project execution.
• Should be very time efficient and systamized
