Job summary

The Emirates Group is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer- Commercial in Dubai to join the Quality Engineering team. You will drive automated UI, API, and contract testing across airline commercial systems, leveraging Java and Python where suitable.

You will work with project members to translate requirements, guide test data setups, and ensure robust end-to-end testing across ticketing, inventory, and distribution flows for Emirates’ digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years IT experience, preferably in airline commercial systems.
• Hands-on experience with UI, API, integration and contract automation.
• Understanding of airline concepts like flight schedules, inventory, PSS.
• Ability to lead quality engineering activities across products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to translate requirements into test strategies.
• Provide early feedback on risks with product requirements and design.
• Ensure non-production environments and test data support testing activities.
• Coordinate cross-team testing across release trains.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for end-to-end testing.
• Support continuous integration and Quality Gate adherence.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of airline reservation and inventory management processes, schedule distribution, availability controls, and downstream impacts across commercial systems.You should have hands-on expertise in Java-based test automation, with experience in Python considered a strong advantage.
