Job summary

Emirates is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Commercial to join our Quality Engineering team in Dubai. You will ensure software quality across the customer journey, from booking and payment to ancillary services and operations.

The role requires hands-on Java-based test automation with Python as a strong plus, and deep experience in Availability & Inventory, Scheduling and PSS domains within airline systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of IT experience, preferably in airline domains.
• Experience with airline commercial systems, PSS and availability or inventory mgmt.
• Hands-on Java-based test automation with API/UI/contract testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project members to translate requirements into test strategies.
• Provide early feedback on risks to product requirements and design.
• Ensure non-prod environments and test data support testing activities.
• Coordinate testing of cross dependencies with release trains.
• Configure test tools to support program dashboards and metrics.
• Guide engineers to write maintainable automated tests via CI.
• Develop and adapt automation frameworks for end-to-end tests.
• Support adherence to Quality Gate requirements.
