Job summary

Al Tariq seeks an experienced software engineer to design and maintain Ground Control Station software using Qt and QML, delivering high-performance GUI for aerospace-grade systems. You will work across the full development lifecycle and collaborate with hardware and embedded teams to ensure tight integration.

You should have a strong background in C++, OO design, and testing, with experience in Linux environments, real-time and safety-critical development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer) or Computer Science.
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience (or 7+ years with a Master’s degree).
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in C++ development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ground Control Station (GCS) software with Qt and QML.
• Collaborate with hardware and embedded teams for seamless integration.
• Contribute to full SDLC including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Write unit tests and maintain documentation and guides.
• Follow safety-critical standards and coding best practices.
