Job summary

Provis is seeking a QHSE Officer to monitor hazardous situations, develop safety measures and coordinate health and safety activities across projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves reporting and investigations and promoting safety awareness among staff.

You'll implement safety management systems, conduct audits, training, and liaise with supervisors to ensure compliance with OSHAD SF and other regulations; strong communication in Arabic and English required.

Qualifications

Bachelor or diploma in engineering or related discipline.
NEBOSH IGC certification preferred.
Internal auditor for ISO 9001/14001 and OHS 45001.
OSHAD approved safety practitioner.
Experience in HSQE reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote safety and sustainability leadership at project sites.
Ensure all Provis personnel understand and comply with HSE requirements.
Provide information, instructions, supervision and training to Provis employees on HSE.
Report HSE violations and implement corrective actions.
Provide HSE on-site support as required.
Ensure timely HSE reporting per requirements.
Perform HSE compliance audits.
Develop safety procedures and OSHAD SF compliance.
