Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi seeks a Lead QA/QC Engineer to steward the project quality management system across ADNOC Growth Projects. You will lead the QA/QC team, ensure contract compliance, and coordinate with EPC contractors and suppliers to meet ADNOC policies and international standards.

The role requires 15+ years in oil & gas with EPC/FEED experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. You will drive quality plans, risk management, and lessons-learned processes to timely project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of 5 years in GCC region.
• At least five years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team.
• ADNOC & Offshore project experience is preferred.
• PMC experiences are preferable.
• Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.
• Sound knowledge on project handover and associated compliance requirements.
• Communication skills in both writing and verbally.
• Proven record of completed Execution phases of projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Project Specific Quality Management System and related manuals and procedures are developed, approved, and enforced on project for full compliance.
• Develop, update and maintain list of Quality Objectives, KPIs and Contractual Requirements and Company's quality expectations from each service provider and project phase.
• Participate and contribute in selecting TPI agency to ensure quality of critical equipment and materials.
• Provide project management with consultation on quality management system requirements.
• Maintain Project Risk Register and update with stakeholders as applicable.
• Review Audit reports and ensure corrective actions are followed-up and closed.
• Monitor compliance to QA/QC requirements by all parties through audits and inspections.
• Coordinate with Licensors, EPCs, and suppliers for compliance to project QA/QC requirements.
• Assist interface management with third parties relating to quality issues.
• Maintain Lesson Learned Register and ensure timely sharing with project teams.
