Job summary

SCAN TECH GENERAL TRADING L.L.C in Dubai, UAE, invites a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual and Automation) to own quality across the EGARAGI platform, including web, iOS, Android, admin and vendor panels, and APIs. This on-site role requires strong defect investigation and documentation for developers.

You will design test plans, execute diverse testing, build automated scripts, validate releases, and collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Design to ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, covering both manual and automation testing.
• Experience testing mobile and web applications in production environments.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English. Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing across web, Android, iOS, admin panel, vendor panel, and APIs.
• Write and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Perform full regression testing before every production release and issue a release readiness report.
• Manage defects through the full lifecycle in Jira, from reporting to retest to closure.
