Job summary

Emirates IT is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer – Mobile Applications in Dubai. You will design and implement quality practices for mobile apps within an agile release train, ensuring end-to-end tests and robust quality standards.

You will mentor QA engineers, drive automation and AI-assisted testing, and collaborate across domains. Strong mobile testing, API testing, accessibility, and CI/CD expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering roles building complex software solutions.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers; establish automation and coding best practices across the SDLC.
• Strong expertise in mobile application testing (iOS & Android), mobile web, and design systems validation.
• Hands-on experience with UI testing frameworks (iOS XCUITest; Android Jetpack Compose Testing).
• Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin and working knowledge of Java/Python/JavaScript.
• Experience with API automation testing (REST/GraphQL) and contract testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement quality engineering practices for a team within an agile release train.
• Ensure adoption of modern delivery practices for quality products and services.
• Coordinate testing of cross dependencies with other release train teams.
• Configure test tools to collect metrics for dashboards at program and enterprise level.
• Guide engineers to write and maintain automated functional tests via CI.
