Job summary

EDGE seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead AS9100 and Nadcap programs, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements. You will drive cross-functional implementation, develop certification-ready documentation, coordinate audits, and mentor teams to build internal capability.

The role supports EDGE's objective to achieve global recognition in aerospace and defense manufacturing, with a focus on Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and SAP QM integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Engineering.
• 10 years of Quality Assurance experience in aerospace/defense/high-precision manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years implementing and maintaining AS9100 QMS.
• Demonstrated Nadcap accreditation experience for aerospace processes.
• Proven AS9100 certification project leadership including gap assessments, documentation, and audits.
• Experience developing Quality Manuals, SOPs, QC procedures, work instructions and inspection/test plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead AS9100 QMS implementation, certification, maintenance and continual improvement.
• Conduct gap assessments, define roadmaps, and maintain quality manuals and controlled documents.
• Lead Nadcap projects including audits, process controls, and corrective actions.
• Standardize quality processes: CAPA, risk management, document control and supplier quality.
• Plan and conduct internal, supplier, customer, certification, and Nadcap audits and drive continual improvement.
• Manage certification programs and cross-functional implementation across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Deliver AS9100/Nadcap training and mentor teams; develop implementation guides.
