Job summary

Testvox in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance specialist to lead testing for software products, ensure quality from requirements through release, and coordinate QA activities with development teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in QA with team management, a strong SDLC understanding, SQL/DB and front-end testing experience, and hands-on familiarity with Jira, qTest or Zephyr. Immediate joiners only for an 8-month contract.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in QA with team management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications and User Stories.
• Collaborate with QA and Dev Engineers to develop test strategies and test plans.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Create logs to document issues and fixes.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools like Jira, qTest, Zephyr/X-ray Test.

Experience: 8years QA(Team Management )

Bachelors / master s degree in computer sciences Information System or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Min 8 years of experience in developing software products and services.

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

Experience in project management and QA methodology

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

Ability to communicate easily with a diverse group of people.

Must have a sound understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Detail and project-oriented with a focus on quality and passion in the work at hand.

SQL and dB testing experience.

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

front-end testing experience.

Working knowledge of test management software and Bug Tracking (e.g. JIRA qTest Zephyr/X-ray Test)
