Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead test automation, DevOps practices and AI-enabled validation across Group IT. The role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks and integrating AI-driven testing, RPA and CI/CD into end-to-end pipelines.

The candidate will drive best practices, coordinate multi-vendor projects, and ensure governance and PCI/DDS compliance while delivering rapid, high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in Test Automation, Functional Testing and DevOps.
• Selenium Java with BDD Cucumber for web/mobile apps.
• GitLab CI/CD and Kubernetes on-prem deployment experience.
• Coordinate offshore/onshore vendors on large projects.
• Knowledge of PCI/DDS data usage compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define, design and implement enterprise-grade test automation frameworks and enhance them with AI-driven capabilities.
• Develop and embed best practices in Test Automation, DevOps and CI/CD for shift-left quality.
• Implement and support test automation, RPA and AI-driven automation solutions across services.
• Define and build automation platforms using UiPath RPA and AI components for intelligent processes.
• Design DevOps CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and AI-assisted validation.
• Identify, evaluate and implement test automation tools ensuring governance and accuracy.
• Champion an automation-first approach to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery.
• Define and design reusable Test Automation frameworks adopted by teams.
• Lead POCs for new automation tools and solutions across Group IT.
• Support test automation teams and ensure quick time to market.
• Develop automation tools using Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, Karate and related tech.
• Ensure complex issues like PDF automation and test recording are addressed for continuous improvement.
