Job summary

Praxent is seeking an experienced QA Lead to spearhead automated and API testing for complex financial services applications. You will design strategies from specs to mappings, document risk plans, and act as a technical SME in sprints.

You will also participate in hiring and mentor junior engineers. The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong SQL/Data Warehouse testing skills with SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI, and advanced T-SQL for ETL validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in relevant tech and projects.
• Extensive SQL and Data Warehouse testing experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Advanced T-SQL skills for testing ETL processes, KPIs, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated testing and API testing for complex applications and scenarios.
• Design and execute test strategies from technical specs to data mappings.
• Document plans for anticipated risks and blockers to increase team velocity.
• Serve as a technical SME during sprints to ensure delivery success.
• Conduct recruiting interviews and assess candidates for hiring.
• Present testing plans, metrics, and insights during sprint reviews.
• Mentor peers and junior team members through code reviews and collaboration.
