Job summary

Valuelabs is seeking a skilled Python Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. You will develop robust Python APIs, build backend services for data-driven applications, and transform data efficiently using modern frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.

This role emphasizes microservices, security, and scalable data handling. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Python API development experience, solid knowledge of MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and hands-on exposure to Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and API

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Python API development experience.
• Experience with Flask or Django and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tooling.
• Experience with security practices for APIs (OAuth, JWT) and API gateways.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust Python APIs and data processing backends.
• Build RESTful services using Flask/FastAPI.
• Implement asynchronous processing and optimize I/O operations.
• Design with microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD.
• Ensure security for APIs and manage authentication/authorization via OAuth/JWT.
