GSSTech Group is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to design, build and run scalable backend systems powering data-driven applications. You will create secure, high-performance APIs and microservices, and own ETL/data transformation pipelines from ingestion to delivery.

The role requires strong Python backend experience with FastAPI/Flask, asyncio, microservices, and API security. You will collaborate across teams to ensure production-grade code, tests and deployment processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Python backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI and/or Flask; working knowledge of Django.
• Proven asyncio and concurrent programming experience.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API security (OAuth, JWT).
• Strong SQL skills with SQLAlchemy or Django ORM; relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend systems and RESTful APIs/microservices in Python.
• Build asynchronous, high-concurrency services with asyncio.
• Design scalable internal web frameworks for production use.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to connect UI with server logic.
• Write clean, well-documented code and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement security, authentication, and encryption across services.
