Abu Dhabi Ports seeks a Senior Specialist – Purchasing to lead tendering, awards and post-award activities for the Fujairah Terminal expansion, coordinating with engineering, projects and operations.

You will develop procurement plans, negotiate with suppliers, monitor risks, and prepare management reports on procurement status and cost-saving opportunities. The role requires 6–8 years in port or large infrastructure procurement, and a bachelor’s in a relevant field. On-site in Abu Dhabi.

Competenze

• Minimum 6–8 years in a similar role.
• Experience in pre-award and post-award management.
• Port, marine or large infrastructure/capital project procurement experience, UAE/GCC preferred.

Mansioni

• Advise stakeholders in development of yearly procurement plans and ensure policy compliance.
• Attend pre-tender meetings to understand needs and review POs.
• Negotiate procurement agreements and evaluate materials to meet specs.
• Evaluate suppliers and bids to source required goods.
• Approve purchasing invoices and ensure accuracy.
• Assess cost variations and prepare management recommendations.
