Blue Ocean Academy seeks an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst to drive technology projects from idea through delivery in the UAE. You will gather requirements, create BRDs/FRDs, and translate needs into scalable solutions, coordinating with developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

You will analyze processes, propose improvements, manage backlogs, and deliver dashboards to track risks and progress in an education tech setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end technology projects (gathering requirements, planning, execution, delivery).
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of APIs, databases, system architecture, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, functional specs, user stories, and process docs.
• Familiarity with wireframing, workflow mapping, and process modelling tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with timely delivery.
• EdTech/LMS exposure preferred; education technology solutions are a plus.
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle from initiation to post-delivery support.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resources with stakeholders.
• Discuss with business stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations.
• Translate business requirements into BRDs/FRDs and user stories.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Analyze processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Lead Agile/Scrum execution: sprints, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
• Prioritize backlog using RICE, MoSCoW, Kano considering value and feasibility.
• Coordinate with QA, API teams, and system integrators to enable delivery.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor progress, risks, and deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation: plans, requirements, meeting notes, change requests.
