Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate all engineering activities across IREF projects in the UAE, ensuring technical compliance, timely deliverables, and seamless integration between design, procurement and site execution.

You will drive pre-sales and post-sales support, manage technical submittals, design reviews, and commissioning activities, while protecting project margins and aligning with client specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
• Minimum of five years of experience in industrial refrigeration or large-scale EPC projects.
• Experience coordinating design, procurement and site execution.
• Proven ability to manage interfaces across design, procurement, QA/QC and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all engineering activities across project phases.
• Ensure technical compliance with standards and design documents.
• Review IFC and shop drawings; provide clarifications to stakeholders.
• Prepare and track material submittals; assist procurement.
• Provide technical leadership during start-up and commissioning.
• Manage interfaces between design, procurement, QA/QC and site execution.
• Support pre- and post-sales activities for retrofit/upgrade projects.
• Deliver weekly engineering progress updates and mitigations.
