Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to oversee engineering activities and coordinate project teams in Dubai. The role focuses on monitoring construction progress, ensuring delivery per drawings and specs, and maintaining quality within budget and schedule.

The ideal candidate will lead multi-disciplinary teams, review technical documents, and manage risks while ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering and construction procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

A well-established company is hiring an experienced Senior Project Engineer to oversee engineering activities, coordinate project teams, monitor construction progress, and ensure projects are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents.
• Supervise project engineers, site engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management.
• Monitor project progress, resources, materials, and manpower.
• Ensure construction work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify technical problems and coordinate effective solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor quality of work.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning, and approvals.
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of milestones.
• Assist with project cost control, variations, and technical evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations.
• Support project handover, snagging, and close-out activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering and construction procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong project coordination and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering software.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage.
• Relevant engineering certification or professional registration is preferred.
