Job summary

TALENT ONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES is seeking a Senior Accountant with construction industry experience to manage project accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements and MIS, overseeing general ledger, project accounts, WIP reporting, monitoring costs and cash flow, and ensuring VAT/IFRS compliance while coordinating audits. Strong QuickBooks/ERP proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA/CMA qualification preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry accounting is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management reports and MIS.
• Manage general ledger, project accounts, cost centres and WIP reporting.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, retentions, bank guarantees and performance bonds.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations and payment tracking.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and project financial analyses.
• Ensure VAT and IFRS compliance, maintain financial controls and coordinate audits.
