Job summary

Air Q Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Production Testing Engineer for the AIT team. You will lead integration checkout, functional testing, and final acceptance testing of assembled units, ensuring conformity to technical and quality requirements before handover.

The role requires hands-on work with electro-mechanical systems, test equipment, and instrumentation, ensuring calibration and traceability of results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years in integration and testing or similar.
• Experience in aerospace/UAV/defense advantageous.
• Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration checkout of assembled units and systems.
• Verify power systems, electronics, interfaces, navigation systems, sensors.
• Identify and troubleshoot integration issues during production testing.
• Develop, document, and execute functional and final acceptance test procedures.
• Define acceptance criteria in coordination with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Maintain accurate test records and traceability for each unit.
• Design, develop, and build test rigs, fixtures, and setups for new products.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, and Production to align testing with requirements.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and system readiness.
