Job summary

ACC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Engineer to oversee quality control for electrical works on Civil and Oil & Gas projects. You will plan, implement, and monitor ITPs, inspections, and non-conformance processes across site activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 7–10 years of electrical QA/QC experience, strong documentation skills, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel. On-site coordination with project teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of QA/QC experience in electrical projects.
• Experience in civil, building, infrastructure, or Oil & Gas electrical works.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and inspection procedures.
• Experience in preparation and implementation of ITPs and checklists.
• Familiarity with international electrical standards and specifications.
• Ability to manage NCRs, inspections, and quality documentation effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review contract specifications, drawings, and documents to identify quality requirements.
• Prepare electrical ITPs and checklists for electrical works.
• Prepare material inspection and testing plans with test requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure electrical method statements meet quality and contractual requirements.
• Monitor electrical installation activities per drawings and ITPs.
• Conduct daily site inspections and walkthroughs of electrical works.
• Receive, log, and process WIR/RFI and coordinate inspections.
• Perform material receiving inspections and verify calibration of testing instruments.
• Witness and verify electrical testing activities and test results.
• Coordinate with testing agencies and commissioning teams.
