This senior product builder will lead product development within a global Q-commerce technology hub, building intelligence layers that support a large delivery network with hundreds of stores and extensive SKU volumes. The role connects regional innovation in Dubai with global product standards, working closely with Berlin-based domain teams and stakeholders across multiple countries. By designing platforms for assortment, pricing, store operations, merchandising, catalog flows, supply chain integration, and availability management, this position helps commercial and operational teams make faster, smarter, and more scalable decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the end-to-end product roadmap for Q-commerce platforms covering SKU lifecycle management, pricing, store operations, merchandising, and product availability.
- Own product discovery by framing operational problems clearly, validating assumptions with data, and engaging directly with users and business teams.
- Lead prioritization decisions based on evidence, operational impact, technical feasibility, and global market needs.
- Shape product architecture in partnership with engineering teams, ensuring clean integration with global microservices and platform systems.
- Collaborate on API design, data flows, system boundaries, and service architecture across catalog, pricing, supply chain, store operations, and availability systems.
- Lead a cross-functional squad of engineers, data scientists, and designers from foundational architecture through production-ready AI-powered user experiences.
- Translate commercial strategy into precise product requirements that support large-scale SKU management, automation, and decision-making.
- Set direction for workflows that balance near-term automation improvements with longer-term AI and machine learning capabilities.
- Work with engineering teams to protect data pipeline integrity, improve system reliability, and support scalable product execution.
- Engage with operational users to identify friction points, unmet needs, and opportunities where automation or AI can create measurable value.
- Co-own delivery timelines with engineering while making pragmatic trade-off decisions that support incremental releases and high product quality.
- Partner with central Berlin teams, regional commercial leaders, and market stakeholders to drive global alignment, adoption, and execution.
- Use analytics, user feedback, operational performance data, and commercial signals to improve product decisions.
- Build products that can operate across multiple countries while adapting to local Q-commerce, retail, marketplace, and supply-chain realities.
Ideal Profile
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience with a proven record of shipping impactful products.
- Experience building consumer products, internal tools, B2B platforms, decision-support systems, marketplace products, or operational platforms.
- Retail, supply-chain, Q-commerce, e-commerce, marketplace, grocery, or store operations experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong product discovery skills with the ability to understand complex operational workflows and convert them into clear product opportunities.
- Able to translate business goals into structured requirements, product roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Comfortable working with senior engineers on API design, data pipelines, service architecture, ML model inputs and outputs, and recommendation engines.
- AI-fluent mindset with practical understanding of how AI, machine learning, and LLMs can improve product workflows and user decisions.
- Strong analytical approach with the ability to validate assumptions, use data confidently, and measure product impact.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders across central, regional, technical, and commercial teams.
- Works effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, 0-to-1 environments where direction, prioritization, and execution need strong ownership.
- Able to make trade-off decisions, maintain delivery momentum, and take accountability for product outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and commercial topics for different audiences.
