Job summary

Stealth Startup is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for an agentic AI platform. You will redefine workflows, partner with Product, Engineering, and Commercial, and rapidly prototype with AI-assisted tooling to validate ideas.

Job description

The Senior Product Designer owns end-to-end design for agentic AI platform. The role modernizes complex business workflows through thoughtful UX, strong product thinking, and practical application of AI tools. It is focused on rethinking workflows rather than redesigning screens: taking ambiguous product areas, finding the real problem, and giving teams something concrete to build toward.

The role drives design from discovery through polished execution at high velocity, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and commercial to define solutions, rapidly prototype and validate ideas, and shape product direction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

End-to-End Product Design

• Drive end-to-end product design across discovery, definition, prototyping, validation, and final execution with high velocity and exceptional craft.
• Own customer journeys, flows, interaction design, and visual design for the agentic AI products, including the tools teams use to configure, steer, and evaluate AI agents.
• Create high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and decision-driving artifacts that directly influence product direction.

AI-Native Experience Design

• Design AI-native experiences and define new interaction patterns for how users research, draft, review, and work with AI.
• Design intelligent, AI-augmented workflows — including agentic flows, conversational interfaces, recommendation-driven experiences, context-aware experiences, and personalization.
• Define where AI should act, where it should assist, and where human judgment and oversight are non-negotiable in the experience.

Direction on Undefined Problems

• Take product areas where the direction is still ambiguous, find the real problem, and give the team something concrete to build toward.
• Rethink workflows end to end rather than simply redesigning screens.

AI-Accelerated Design Practice

• Leverage AI, automation, and modern design tooling (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Figma Make, or similar) to accelerate exploration, iteration, and production readiness.
• Move from idea to working prototype in a matter of hours using AI-assisted prototyping as part of the daily workflow.

Design System & Craft

• Contribute to and evolve a scalable design system that supports speed, consistency, and product complexity.
• Champion simplicity, clarity, and craftsmanship in every detail.

Validation & Iteration

• Rapidly prototype and validate ideas with users and stakeholders, and drive measurable improvements through iteration and user feedback.
• Apply customer empathy and research insight to build accessible and inclusive user experiences.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of expertise applying human-centered design practices to digital and mobile product experiences across all development phases
• 2+ year designing AI products or AI-powered experiences
• A track record of designing and shipping enterprise software used in real operational environments
• Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Figma Make, or similar throughout the design process, with actual examples of AI-assisted research, prototyping, workflow exploration, or design iteration
• Fluency with AI-assisted prototyping and design tooling as part of a daily workflow — going from idea to working prototype in a matter of hours
• A record of driving measurable improvements through iteration and user feedback
• Deep understanding of user needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to craft engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly product experiences
• Experience working from discovery through polished execution in ambiguous, high-velocity environments, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Research
