Job summary

AI71, a pioneering AI company, seeks a Senior Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design lifecycle for our core AI-driven application. You will partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize features, run user research, and translate insights into elegant, accessible designs.

You will own wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, collaborate with developers for pixel-perfect execution, and help shape a design culture anchored in user-centric principles and AI usability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI).
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in HCI, Design, or related field.
• Strong user-centered design understanding and ability to articulate business impact.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.

Responsibilities

The Role:

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a critical, hands‑on role in shaping and delivering cutting‑edge AI solutions that redefine industries. You will be a strategic partner, moving fluidly from high‑level product strategy to hands‑on execution, ensuring that our complex technology is accessible, elegant, and user‑centric.

What You'll Do:

• Own and Lead the Design Process: Drive the end‑to‑end design lifecycle for our core application. Where needed, you will create wireframes, mockups, and high‑fidelity prototypes that not only align with user‑centered design principles but also push the boundaries of AI interaction. You will take charge of your projects with a high degree of autonomy, leading them from conception to delivery.
• Influence Product Strategy: Act as a key partner to Product and Engineering. Use design thinking, user research, and your deep expertise to help prioritize features, balancing user needs and the business objectives.
• Align Cross‑Functional Stakeholders: Proactively communicate your design vision and the rationale behind it. You will be responsible for aligning cross‑functional (xFN) stakeholders, including product managers and engineers to drive action.
• Facilitate Collaborative Problem‑Solving: Prepare and run engaging workshops with diverse teams to translate complex user needs and project requirements into actionable design solutions.
• Champion the User through Research: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously iterate on and improve our products. You will be the unwavering advocate for the user in every conversation.
• Execute and Ship with Excellence: Work closely with front‑end developers to implement design specifications with high fidelity, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience.
• Elevate Our Design Culture: Advocate for user experience best practices and design principles within the organization. Stay updated on design trends and emerging technologies to enhance our user interfaces and help establish the design foundations at AI71.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI). Your portfolio showcasing previous design work on software applications is essential.
• Education: A Bachelor's or higher degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Strategic Product Thinking: You are more than a designer; you are a product builder. You have a strong understanding of user‑centered design principles and can articulate how your work solves user problems and drives business impact.
• Hands‑On Skills: Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Research Acumen: Proven experience with usability testing and user research methodologies, and a passion for turning insights into action.
• Collaborative Influence: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to present ideas, facilitate discussions, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
