Job summary

Avery Dennison in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Procurement Officer to lead end-to-end category strategies for raw materials, indirect services, and subcontractors, driving value and efficiency.

You will move beyond traditional quotes to analyse Total Cost of Ownership, design lean P2P cycles, and build dashboards in Google Sheets or Power BI. A strong AI mindset will inform market intelligence and automated reporting, with close collaboration across Finance, Operations and Leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement with 3+ years in senior/strategic roles in UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering required.
• CIPS Level 4/5 or CPSM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end category strategies for raw materials, indirect services, and subcontractors.
• Analyze Total Cost of Ownership beyond quotes to unlock long-term value.
• Design and implement leaner, faster P2P cycles to improve agility.
• Build dashboards using Google Sheets or Power BI to monitor procurement performance.
• Pioneer Generative AI for market intelligence, contract analysis, and automated reporting.
• Manage full procurement lifecycle from stakeholder requirements to vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Leadership to protect margins and ensure continuity.
• Navigate UAE market disruptions and supplier rate changes to minimize disruption.
