The role covers sourcing concrete components, steel, aggregates, formwork, subcontract services, and ERP-based procurement workflows, with a strong emphasis on supplier relations and contract negotiations to secure optimal terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of procurement experience in civil construction or EPC projects.
• Experience sourcing civil materials and subcontract packages in Fujairah/RAK region or similar markets.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, contracts, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end procurement for civil packages (concrete, reinforcement steel, aggregates, precast, formwork, waterproofing, finishes) and subcontract services across EPC project scopes.
• Prepare tender packages and RFQs, compare technical and commercial offers, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best terms.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and procurement schedules aligned with the project programme and site requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, QS, and site teams to confirm specifications, approved material submittals, and delivery requirements.
• Maintain and expand an approved vendor and subcontractor database across Fujairah, RAK, and the Northern Emirates, evaluating supplier performance and compliance.
• Track deliveries, expedite critical items, and resolve supply, quality, and payment issues, keeping cost and commitment reports up to date for management.

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Procurement Officer exists to plan, lead, and control the procurement of civil works, construction materials, equipment, and subcontract services for EPC projects, ensuring they are sourced on time, at the right cost, and in line with project specifications, quality standards, and company procurement policy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Minimum 8+ years of procurement experience, including strong civil construction procurement and EPC project exposure.


• Proven experience procuring civil materials and subcontract packages, with working knowledge of the Fujairah, RAK, or nearby regional supplier market.


• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, contract terms, and negotiation.


• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.

UAE/GCC construction industry experience required.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.


• Sound understanding of civil drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.


• Ability to manage multiple procurement packages under tight project deadlines.


• Good coordination skills with project, engineering, QS, and site teams.
