Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement for construction and capital projects in Abu Dhabi. You will shape sourcing strategies, manage tenders from start to award, and deliver value, cost savings, and reduced risk.

You will work closely with project, technical, and commercial teams, and lead a team of procurement professionals, setting objectives, KPIs, and governance to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience with exposure to construction or capital projects.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract management.
• Experience leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction works, services, and materials.
• Conduct spend and market analysis to identify savings, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish framework agreements and long-term partnerships with contractors and suppliers.
• Translate project requirements into sourcing plans and tender documentation.
• Oversee contractor and supplier prequalification and end-to-end tender process.
• Lead bid evaluations with technical stakeholders.
• Plan and lead commercial negotiations, prepare award recommendations, and secure approvals.
• Review existing contracts for cost-optimization opportunities.
• Support resolution of claims and disputes with commercial and legal teams.
• Manage supplier registration, evaluation, and performance.

• Conduct spend and market analysis to identify savings, risks, and opportunities
• Establish framework agreements and long-term partnerships with contractors and suppliers
• Translate project requirements into sourcing plans and tender documentation
• Oversee contractor and supplier prequalification and the end-to-end tender process
• Lead bid evaluations together with technical stakeholders
• Plan and lead commercial negotiations, prepare award recommendations, and secure approvals
• Review existing contracts for cost-optimization opportunities
• Support the resolution of claims and disputes with commercial and legal teams

What We're Looking For
