Job summary

Veolia Middle East is seeking a Procurement Engineer to drive the project procurement and supply chain strategy for EPC/O&M projects in the UAE. You will manage subcontracts, lead on-site procurement teams, and ensure procurement activities meet budget, schedule, and VEOLIA policies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field with extensive procurement experience, strong English skills, and a track record in large-scale contracts. Standard contract, on-site work, UAE context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum in engineering or related field with procurement experience.
• IT skills: Office suite (Doc, XLS, PPT) / Google Workspace is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic, Hindi or French is a plus.
• 7 years’ procurement experience on complex EPC projects; 10 years total experience; subcontracts management mandatory.
• Experience with large O&M contracts.
• Multinational contractor/consultancy background preferred.
• Experience leading site-based procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Executes project procurement and supply chain strategy with project stakeholders.
• Manage subcontracts and on-site procurement team.
• Drafts, negotiates and finalizes subcontracts per VEOLIA policies.
• Reports on KPIs monthly to management.
• Ensure compliance with HS&E, environment and ethics.
