Job summary

Penspen in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Asset Integrity) to lead engineering activities on oil, gas and petrochemical projects. The role requires delivering PFDs and P&IDs, performing simulations in HYSYS, and ensuring design integrity from concept to detailed design.

Ideal candidates will have 12 years of experience, including 8+ in process engineering and asset integrity, with prior Saudi Region exposure. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in process engineering for major Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical projects.
• 8+ years in process engineering and asset integrity; experience in Saudi Region is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of basic engineering processes and standards.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices.
• Design from concept to detailed design.
• Technical analysis of engineering problems.
• Development of Process Flow Diagrams and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
• HYSYS simulation and HMB development
• Prepare engineering deliverables per company standards

Main Purpose of Role

Core Engineering Role to produce the volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of basic engineering processes
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices (Saudi Aramco standards exposure is advantageous)
• Must be familiar with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
• Technical analysis of engineering problems

Experience Required
