Key Responsibilities
- Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed process engineering analyses and design according to project specifications, standards, and design basis
- Develop innovative and cost‑effective technical solutions for complex process engineering challenges
- Lead large engineering teams and manage discipline execution across major EPC and offshore projects
- Review and approve process simulations, heat and material balances, PFDs, P and ID diagrams, and process safeguarding diagrams
- Prepare and approve process specifications, operating philosophy documents, startup manuals, and operating procedures
- Review equipment and instrument process datasheets, equipment lists, line lists, and sizing calculations
- Perform flare studies, depressurization studies, dispersion calculations, and process safety assessments
- Participate in HAZID, HAZAN, HAZOP, and other safety, operability, and reliability workshops
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure clash‑free design and successful IDC execution
- Manage scope, deliverables, schedules, work‑hour budgets, and discipline forecasts
- Support procurement through technical bid evaluations, requisitions, vendor reviews, and subcontractor assessments
- Lead technical audits, design reviews, and customer engineering discussions
- Mentor engineers, supervise discipline teams, and support workforce planning and performance evaluation
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering
- 20 years of experience in oil and gas projects with major contractors or consultants
- Strong expertise in offshore engineering, FEED, detailed design, and EPC project execution
- Deep understanding of process engineering design techniques, standards, and international offshore codes
- Proven leadership in large multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex project delivery
- Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a recognized engineering society
- Strong communication, presentation, and technical leadership skills
- Recognized as a key technical leader and highly skilled engineering specialist
- Strong commercial awareness and project execution capability
