Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a senior reinforcement detailing engineer to join its structural team in the UAE. You will design and detail reinforcement for precast concrete elements, ensure compliance with international and local codes, and produce shop drawings and schedules using CAD tools.

The role requires collaboration with engineers to optimize layouts for constructability and structural integrity, plus hands-on calculation of anchorage, splices, and development lengths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in reinforcement detailing for precast concrete structures.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and rebar detailing tools (CADS RC, RebarCAD).
• Strong understanding of ACI, Eurocode, or local codes for concrete reinforcement.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail reinforcement for precast concrete elements, ensuring compliance with codes and project specs.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and design teams to optimize reinforcement layouts for constructability and structural integrity.
• Produce detailed shop drawings and reinforcement schedules using CAD software, reflecting design intent.
