Azizi Developments seeks a Reinforcement Detailer for its UAE precast operations in Sharjah. The role focuses on producing accurate reinforcement drawings and Bar Bending Schedules for precast elements, ensuring compliance with design and production needs.

Reinforcement Detailing Responsibilities

• Prepare reinforcement drawings and Bar Bending Schedules for precast structural and architectural elements.
• Produce reinforcement details for columns, beams, wall panels, and load-bearing walls.
• Detail reinforcement for hollow-core and solid slabs, staircases, balconies, and connections.
• Prepare reinforcement laps and anchorage details.
• Detail embedded items and lifting inserts as directed by the Senior Reinforcement Detailer.
• Translate structural drawings, calculations, and design information into production-ready reinforcement documentation.
• Follow applicable codes, project specifications, and reinforcement detailing standards.

Bar Scheduling and Material Take-Offs

• Prepare accurate bar schedules for precast elements.
• Develop material take-offs from approved reinforcement information.
• Verify reinforcement quantities against structural design information.
• Maintain consistency between reinforcement drawings and associated Bar Bending Schedules.
• Review detailing information carefully before release for production.

Design Revisions and Coordination

• Update reinforcement drawings and BBS documentation in response to design revisions, RFIs, and consultant or client comments.
• Coordinate with BIM Modellers to ensure reinforcement details correspond with 3D models where applicable.
• The role will also maintain reinforcement drawing registers and revision control to ensure the Design Production Team works from current information.

Production Support

• Provide technical clarification to the Production Team during precast manufacturing.
• Support reinforcement fixing and cage fabrication activities with accurate detailing information.
• Respond to production queries relating to reinforcement drawings and schedules.
• Coordinate with Design, BIM, and Production teams to resolve detailing discrepancies.
• Help ensure reinforcement documentation is practical for manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting, Detailing, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of detailing experience.
• At least 2 years of reinforcement detailing experience in precast or cast-in-situ concrete.
• Experience detailing reinforcement for villas, high-rise, hospitality, mixed-use, residential, or industrial projects.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
• Ability to accurately interpret structural drawings and design information.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
