Confidential Company is seeking an experienced post-contract and commercial lead to oversee major development packages, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and corporate governance across project life cycles.

You will manage post-award variations, lead final accounts, monitor cash flow and CVRs, and coordinate with main contractors, consultants and JV partners in the UK and Middle East regions. MRICS/CIArb preferred; 10–14+ years’ experience expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• MRICS (preferred); CIArb membership advantageous.
• 10-14+ years of commercial and procurement experience; 5-7+ years in senior management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee post-contract administration across major packages with contractual governance.
• Manage post-award variations, scope changes, provisional sums, and rate reviews with detailed financials.
• Lead final account negotiations with main contractors, sub-contractors, and lead consultants.
• Monitor cash flow, CVRs, and forecasting to safeguard project margins.
• Evaluate, defend, and negotiate complex construction claims including EOT and variation disputes.
• Analyse delay events, critical-paths, and causation with quantum calculations.
• Formulate contractually grounded responses and liaise with claims consultants and lawyers.
• Serve as central point of contact for all commercial and contractual matters across project life cycles.
• Coordinate with Project Directors, Design Managers, Legal, Audit, Consultants, and JV Partners.
• Prepare FRNs dashboards and board-level reporting on claims exposure.
• Lead high-stakes negotiations to resolve disputes while protecting commercial interests.
• Foster collaborative relationships across international project teams in UK and Middle East.
