Job summary

Venture Search is partnering with a premier UAE hospitality owner-operator to appoint a Director of Hospitality Asset Management. The role oversees a diversified hotel and resort portfolio, driving performance, value creation, and capital allocation decisions alongside senior leadership, operators, and brands.

The candidate will benchmark performance, lead strategic planning, and ensure governance of investment decisions while presenting to boards and committees.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hospitality asset management experience
• Experience acting as owner's representative with international and regional hotel operators
• Proven track record negotiating Hotel Management Agreements and brand documentation
• Experience across luxury, upper upscale, lifestyle, resort, midscale or extended stay segments
• Regional experience in the Middle East is advantageous and relocation is feasible

Responsibilities

• Own asset-level performance across the hotel and resort portfolio, holding operators to account against budgets and KPIs.
• Interrogate operator reporting, P&Ls and forecasts; challenge variances and drive corrective action.
• Benchmark assets against peers using STR data and monitor market dynamics.
• Chair owner's meetings and act as the principal owner's representative with operators and brands.
• Develop asset management plans, identify repositioning and conversion opportunities, and stress-test underwriting.
