Senior PMC Project Engineer – Mega EPC Leader

Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PMC Specialist Project Engineer to lead engineering teams, manage technical scope, and coordinate stakeholders to deliver mega EPC/EPCm projects on time and within budget for ADNOC or other major clients.

You will drive design verification, change management, and project controls, mentor a large cross‑disciplinary team, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and contractual requirements across multiple execution centres.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Approximately 15 years in a project delivery environment
• Experience in mega EPC/EPCm projects
• Previous ADNOC PMC experience an advantage
• Strong understanding of contracts, schedules, milestones and change management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage and coordinate large interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee multidisciplinary engineering inputs and deliverables across multiple execution centres
• Manage project scope, cost, quality and schedule
• Coordinate stakeholders and act as main technical liaison for the client
• Drive design verification and change management
• Lead and develop a large project engineering team (50+)
