Job summary

Wood is recruiting a Lead Process Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, directing process engineering for ADNOC projects and leading the PMC activities with EPC contractors. The role requires deep experience in oil and gas process design and oversight of complex project deliverables.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to ADNOC standards, and contribute to safe, efficient project execution within scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all process engineering activities for ADNOC projects as PMC lead.
• Oversee EPC contractor deliverables and ensure design integrity.
• Coordinate design options, optimization, and validation.
• Assist in equipment sizing/selection to optimize standardization.
• Ensure facilities comply with environment and health guidelines.
• Support installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Interface with ADNOC, contractors, and internal technical teams.
