Job summary

Kraken, operating Payward's Payments & Blockchain team, seeks a product manager to shape the future of its payments platform. You will own the product vision for the backend and integration surfaces, working with internal clients, engineering, and banking partners to deliver scalable, multi-tenant payments capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in platform/API/infrastructure contexts.
• Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, or embeddable UI components.
• Clear, structured writing enabling stakeholders to take action.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for Payward's payments platform, including backend and integration surfaces.
• Map requirements across internal clients to evolve platform capabilities and use cases.
• Partner with engineering to convert vision into a sequenced, high-impact roadmap with milestones.
• Prioritize competing client needs and communicate trade-offs with clear rationale.
• Shape the client experience end-to-end from initial convo to go-live for smooth adoption.
• Collaborate with banking and partnerships teams to standardize integrations across entities.
• Incorporate compliance, risk, and legal requirements early in roadmaps.
• Define and track platform success metrics like time-to-launch and rail adoption.
