Job Description

Careers International is hiring for a reputed Civil & MEP Contracting Company in the UAE for its ongoing building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead execution of plumbing, water supply, drainage, storm water and pump-room works
Review plumbing shop drawings, calculations and material submittals
Plan manpower, materials and sequence of plumbing works to meet project timelines
Coordinate with consultants, authorities and other MEP trades for approvals and inspections
Supervise pressure testing, flushing, commissioning and final handover
Ensure works comply with specifications, local codes (DM/DEWA) and HSE standards
Guide site engineers, foremen and chargehands on site

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of plumbing and public-health engineering experience in building projects, GCC experience preferred
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes (IPC/UPC), drainage systems and pump selection
Experience with high-rise residential/commercial projects
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
UAE driving licence and Society of Engineers registration preferred
