Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced MEP Site Supervisor (Mechanical) to lead plumbing and firefighting installations on site. You will review drawings, coordinate with other trades, and ensure workmanship meets project specs and local authority requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and at least four years of UAE/GCC experience on residential, commercial, or high-rise developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP construction projects.
• Experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, villa, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of Water Supply Systems, Drainage & Sewerage, Storm Water, Irrigation, Fire Fighting, Pumps and Storage Tanks.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Municipality, ADDC, Civil Defense, or relevant authorities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all plumbing and sanitary installation works on site.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and technical specs.
• Coordinate plumbing with Civil, Architectural, Electrical, HVAC, and other MEP disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, authority requirements and standards.
• Monitor progress and ensure works meet the approved schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Prepare RFIs, method statements, inspection requests and progress reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, clients and suppliers.
• Monitor procurement and delivery schedules for plumbing materials.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover of plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company policies.
