Job summary

Careers International is hiring for a reputed Civil & MEP Contracting Company in the UAE for ongoing building and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on leading execution of plumbing water supply, drainage, storm water and pump-room works, reviewing drawings, planning manpower, and coordinating with consultants and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of plumbing and public-health engineering experience in building projects; GCC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes (IPC/UPC) and pump selection.
• Experience with high-rise residential/commercial projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• UAE driving licence and Society of Engineers registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of plumbing water supply, drainage, storm water, and pump-room works.
• Review plumbing shop drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
• Plan manpower, materials, and sequence of plumbing works to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and other MEP trades for approvals and inspections.
• Supervise pressure testing, flushing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Ensure works comply with specifications, local codes (DM/DEWA) and HSE standards.
• Guide site engineers, foremen, and chargehands on site.
