Job summary

QuantumGate is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and secure environments. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, Docker/Kubernetes deployments, monitoring, and incident readiness. Strong scripting, Git, and cloud platform experience are essential, with a focus on security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on DevOps experience in cloud environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficient with Git version control.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong security practices for cloud and applications.
• Experience with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Manage source code repositories and branching with Git.
• Implement configuration management with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Monitor system health and performance with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Implement security controls and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Document infrastructure, deployment procedures, and best practices.
