Job summary

AECOM Middle East Limited Dubai Branch seeks a seasoned Senior Planning Manager to lead schedule and cost controls across major building and infrastructure projects in the AE Dubai market. You will shape baselines, drive performance, and provide insights for clients and senior stakeholders.

You will mentor planning engineers, interface with clients, consultants and contractors, and deliver robust baselines, schedules and EOT analyses to guide project decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of planning experience on major building and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated delivery of multiple completed projects valued at AED 800 million+.
• Strong experience in large, complex, and detailed building developments.
• Proven experience on major infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and associated civil works.
• Extensive experience in Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, delay analysis, and claims management.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and project controls methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Previous experience leading planning teams and interfacing directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead all planning, scheduling, and project controls activities for major building and infrastructure projects.
• Develop, review, and manage baseline, revised, recovery, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Monitor project progress, critical path activities, and key contractual milestones.
• Evaluate and manage EOT submissions, delay analyses, and Time Impact Assessments (TIA).
• Review contractor programs and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Provide strategic planning advice to Project Directors and senior management.
• Lead planning meetings and present project performance reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans to address project delays.
• Oversee project controls reporting, forecasting, and schedule risk management.
• Mentor and manage planning engineers and project controls staff.
