Turner and Townsend in Dubai is seeking a Senior Planner to support the project management division on energy and mining commissions. The role is full time and requires leading planning activities, identifying issues early, and maintaining the integrity of the programme baseline.

You will provide planning direction, produce assurance reports, deliver period updates, coordinate client partners, consultants and contractors, report non-compliance, and assist the bidding team to ensure timely bid

Formación

• Fifteen or more years of post-graduate experience.
• Regional consultancy experience is required.
• Experience in energy and mining sectors is essential.
• A BSc in a relevant field is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or other planning and resourcing software.
• Working knowledge of project management and planning tools.
• Strong written and spoken communication.

Responsabilidades

Turner and Townsend is recruiting a Senior Planner for its project management division in Dubai, to work on energy and mining commissions. The post is full time. The planner supports the project team across all planning functions and makes sure that problems within the programme is brought out and understood.

The role gives planning advice and direction to the team and to the other parties, produces programme assurance reports on client commissions, and reports progress with the variance against the baselines.

The post holder delivers the period programme updates and contributes to project reports, and coordinates the programmes of the client's partners, consultants and contractors against the project programme, reporting any non-compliance so that it can be resolved. Where needed, the planner also supports the bidding team so that bid documents are submitted on time.

The posting asks for at least fifteen years of post-graduate experience, regional experience in professional consultancy and industry experience in the energy and mining sector. A BSc in a relevant field is preferred. Applicants need advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or other planning and resourcing software, a working knowledge of project management and planning tools, and strong written and spoken communication.
