Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Reporting and Data Lead in Dubai, UAE. The role requires 10–15 years in data analytics and reporting, with strong SQL, Python, and Power BI skills. You will shape data governance, KPI dashboards, and data strategy across energy and resources sectors.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple data initiatives, and present insights to senior leadership. Excellent communication and governance expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of professional experience with 5 years ideally in reporting, data analytics or project controls
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages would be advantageous
• Expert-level knowledge of business intelligence platforms (Power BI or equivalent)
• Strong expertise in data visualization and dashboard development
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and compliance frameworks
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise data management systems
• Professional certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields are preferred

This is a strategic leadership position designed for a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of expertise in reporting and data management within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. The ideal candidate will drive data-driven decision-making across our organization, establishing robust reporting frameworks and analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support business objectives across mining, oil & gas, power, energy, and utilities operations.

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting systems and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key business metrics and performance indicators
