Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking an experienced piping/pipeline engineer to lead the design and engineering of complex piping and pipeline systems for oil & gas, petrochemical or power projects in the UAE. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings, perform stress and flexibility analyses, and specify materials.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 8 years of Gulf-related experience, deep knowledge of ASME/API codes, and proficiency in CAESAR II, PDMS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in piping/pipeline engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power industries.
• Proven expertise in international piping codes (ASME B3, B1, API and relevant standards).
• Proficiency in piping design and analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of complex piping and pipeline systems ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for piping layouts, stress analysis and isometric drawings using software such as PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D or equivalent.
• Perform critical stress analysis and flexibility analysis for piping systems, identifying and mitigating issues like vibration and fatigue.
• Specify materials for piping components including pipes, fittings, valves and supports considering process requirements, corrosion resistance and cost-effectiveness.
