Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking a Mechanical Piping Design Engineer in Abu Dhabi to design and develop piping systems for oil and gas facilities. The role requires conducting stress analyses and ensuring compliance with international codes; you will generate isometrics and MTOs using industry CAD tools.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of piping experience in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors and possess strong knowledge of ASME/API standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3-5 years of piping design/engineering experience in oil & gas or petrochemical.
• Proficiency in piping design software and stress analysis tools; strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, API 520, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop piping systems for oil & gas facilities following international codes and standards.
• Perform stress analysis using CAESAR II or ROHR2 to mitigate vibration and thermal expansion issues.
• Create detailed piping layout drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs (MTOs) using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, and structural engineers to integrate piping designs into projects.
