Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead critical design reviews, ensure compliance with project specifications and vendor data, and drive safe, efficient execution across FEED and EPC phases.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with PMC/ADNOC experience preferred and a strong background in piping design and project management.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in engineering (any relevant discipline) from an accredited university.
15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
PMC & ADNOC experiences are preferable.
Gas processing experience in FEED & EPC phases.

Responsibilities

Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
Identify, evaluating, and resolving Piping Engineering issues.
Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the Contractor key deliverables and other works within the Mechanical (Piping) discipline, ensuring compliance with design requirements and licensor PDPs.
Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors and provide comments.
Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
Attend all project technical sessions (Design Review, 3D Model Review, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP/HAZID).
Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC Contractor’s Mechanical (Piping) design activities and integration.
Coordinate engineering participation in design options and business models development.
Coordinate technical guidance to develop/update specifications.
Coordinate reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification and bid evaluation.
