Job summary

Penspen Ltd is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer (Construction) to lead piping installation activities on an onshore gas project in Abu Dhabi. The role requires construction management and technical oversight to ensure safe, efficient execution aligned with project specs and international codes.

The candidate should bring extensive experience in oil & gas, particularly with EPC and construction phases, and preferably have ADNOC or major Middle East operator project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Professional engineering membership is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management and technical oversight for piping installation on an onshore gas project.
• Interface with EPC Contractors, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Commissioning and Client teams to achieve delivery.
• Ensure piping construction works are safe, efficient and comply with specifications and international codes.

Job Purpose

The Senior Piping Engineer (Construction) will provide construction management and technical oversight for piping installation activities during the execution of an onshore gas project. The role is responsible for ensuring that all piping construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, applicable international codes, company standards, and quality requirements. The position will interface closely with EPC Contractors, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Commissioning, and Client teams to achieve successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional engineering membership is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Minimum 10 years in piping construction engineering for major onshore gas processing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PMC/Owner's Engineer roles.
• Mandatory experience in EPC, and Construction phases.
• Experience in brownfield and greenfield gas developments is highly preferred.
• Previous ADNOC or major Middle East operator project experience is preferred.
