Job summary

Penspen is urgently looking to hire a Construction Engineer (Piping) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will support offshore piping construction activities, review drawings, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet schedules and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of offshore piping experience, preferably with PMC/EPC backgrounds and exposure to ADNOC Offshore projects, enabling effective execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in offshore projects.

Responsibilities

• Support offshore oil & gas projects during fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and pre-commissioning phases.
• Ensure piping construction activities are safe, efficient and compliant with codes, standards and project schedules.
• Review piping drawings, isometrics, spool drawings and work packs.

Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Construction Engineer (Piping) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Support for offshore oil & gas projects during fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and pre-commissioning phases.
• Ensures that all piping construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Review piping construction drawings, isometrics, spool drawings, and work packs.
• Develop and support construction methodologies, execution plans, and installation procedures.
• Monitor piping fabrication, erection, fit-up, welding, testing, and reinstatement activities.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved procedures and project requirements.
• Coordinate piping construction activities with structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Review engineering deliverables for constructability and installation feasibility
• Respond to site technical queries and coordinate engineering clarifications
• Ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
• Monitor welding productivity and quality performance.
• Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
• Coordinate hydrostatic and pneumatic testing activities.
• Ensure proper test package preparation and completion.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and applicable standards.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication yard, offshore installation, and commissioning teams.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.
• Prepare construction reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.

Experience Required

• Minimum 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in offshore project.
• Proven experience in offshore piping construction activities
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
