Job summary

WorleyParsons Arabia Limited Co in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Offshore Pipeline Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of design experience. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, prepare SOWs, verify field surveys, and ensure design compliance with latest DNV standards.

The role covers high pressure gas lines, subsea valves, and complex installation support. You will work under Lead Engineers, provide mentorship, and coordinate with disciplines to deliver scope on time, using industry tools like

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of design experience in Offshore Pipeline Engineering.
• Experience in Concept FEED and Detailed Design.
• Experience with high pressure gas lines and subsea valves.
• Familiarity with DNV standards and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers, provide technical guidance for offshore pipeline design.
• Prepare Scope of Work documents and verify field surveys.
• Review geophysical and geotechnical survey reports and ensure compliance with client specs.
• Perform pipeline design tasks: Basis of Design, route studies, coatings, wall thickness, stability analyses, cathodic protection.
• Conduct Riser, buckling, VIV, fatigue studies, and AUTOPIPE pipeline crossing analyses.
• Support installation EPC contractor with construction drawings and material specs.

Job description

Primary Requirement

Possesses a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the execution of offshore pipeline design for Conceptual Front-End Engineering Design FEED and Detailed Design projects Experienced in coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines throughout project execution to ensure seamless delivery of project objectives

Specific Accountabilities

Essential Skills

ExperienceBachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Structural Engineering Proven experience working within an engineering consultancy environment on multidisciplinary projects Minimum 10 years of design experience in Offshore Pipeline Engineering Good understanding and application of relevant international codes and standards including DNV API ASME NACE BS and other applicable industry standards Strong communication interpersonal and technical report-writing skills in English Capable of performing assigned work independently in accordance with established technical guidelines and with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and prioritize workload to meet project requirements Willingness and flexibility to undertake temporary or long-term assignments at other Worley offices worldwide as required to support project execution
